This is the template that I started my cover page with and this is how far I got now.

I've completely changed the color scheme and rotation of the words.

For this project I was able to develop my own personal thing, my  own personal branding for this magazine and I really appreciate that.  First with the masthead, I was able to put my masthead on the side and it’s called “Travelscene” so any type of, any story dealing with travel could be the feature story. Just in this case it’s about a kid who is military so she is a teenage nomad. Next, as it comes to color schemes and having images and taking photos I enjoyed the opportunity to do this. Beginning Preliminary Task

 Today I will be working on a model magazine for my Preliminary Task. The purpose of the preliminary task is familiarize myself with the process of creating a magazine while following the codes and conventions.  I will be taking the following steps for the creation of my model magazine for the preliminary task: 1. Take my own photos  2. Edit the photos 3. Chose Template and photos for my Cove Page 4. Choose Template and Photo for my table of content  5. Create a reflection for my Preliminary task   As I am not a very organized person this will not be the exact order in which I complete my preliminary task
