This is my evaluation to question 3.

 How did your production skills develop throughout this project? 


In the beginning of this project, I had no idea what conventions were masthead, I had no idea how to create a magazine, the elements needed to create a magazine. For this project I was able to develop my own personal thing, my  own personal branding for this magazine and I really appreciate that.  First with the masthead, I was able to put my masthead on the side and it’s called “Travelscene” so any type of, any story dealing with travel could be the feature story. Just in this case it’s about a kid who is military so she is a teenage nomad. Next, as it comes to color schemes and having images and taking photos I enjoyed the opportunity to do this. It really, really like it was awesome to me. Production skills developing through it.  I would say they have come pretty far, I didn’t know how to do anything but watch through watching videos and actually getting to experience it hand on, that’s how.  I never knew anything about magazines at all, and this gave me the opportunity to make it personal, like even when it comes to my table of contents, my table contents has to do with the magazine. It's not normal, it's specific to this particular, this particular edition with a girl who has  lived her life in suitcases. Thank you, have a nice day!

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?  How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?  Personally for my project, my product I create a magazine a travel magazine, but this edition was based on an army brat so you say an “army brat” but basically it’s based on child who is a military kid who is born into a military family and she has been traveling since she was five months old. It represents social groups, the social groups of military kids because it got that  deep dive into her life, and what it was like for her, and it took away the stigma of military kids. How did you integrate technologies - software, or hardware and online in this project?   There was a lot of editing involved in this project especially when it came to images, having them, even putting filters on images, or trying to get the right, exact right color to have words not collide with pictures on this, on this project. I would definitely say a lot of editing in Photoshop, the main thing for the barcodes it had to be editing to put that on to put a clip art of barcode on there or even the when it came to the feature story having to select pieces of text and have them in individual boxes are supposed to post in the whole thing because it wouldn’t fit.  That’s where it came in like critical, critical thinking of how to make it look right but still trying to make it look like a magazine including images taking
